ST. PETERSBURG INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM

The Russian Government has decided to hold the XXIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 6-8, 2019. SPIEF is a unique event in the word of big politics, business and economics. It has been held since 1997, and since 2006 it has been held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation, who has also attended each event.

Every year SPIEF serves as a platform for discussions on the key issues of the world economy, regional integration and development of new industrial and technological sectors, as well as of the global challenges facing the International community and Russia as its integral part.

Events at SPIEF traditionally take place in the format of panel sessions, roundtables, televised debates, business breakfasts and business dialogues devoted to Russia’s relationships with various countries. Major national and International companies with Forum Partner status have the opportunity to present their products and services and organize themed networking areas. The SPIEF Investment & Business Expo is a platform at the Forum venue where companies can showcase their promising Russian and International investment projects, solutions and technologies.

SPIEF participants include heads of states and governments and International organizations, public officials of the ministerial and other levels, businessmen, experts, scientists, mass media representatives.
